“As the father of the bride, I would simply say that I had a very vested interest in my daughter’s wedding at 255 Milledge - Hardeman-Sams Estate. This wedding was a significant investment from my perspective and I had to go into it with a certain degree of hope and trust. Weddings are not my area of expertise, but I knew the guest list and I had incredibly high hopes for a significant life moment for our entire family. There are literally thousands of details that go into making this event be successful at being special. I still don’t think I fully appreciate all the work that was involved not only in the planning, but also all of the details, including the management of the flow of the evening.”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My husband and I got married at 255 Milledge in April of 2024, and it was better than anything I could have ever dreamed of. Working with the staff at 255 is SO easy, and they work tirelessly to make your dream wedding come to life. Their bar service and florals are outstanding, too. If you're looking to get married in the Athens area, this is literally the only spot you should consider. Their grounds are impeccable, the house is beautiful and historic, and the staff are organized, detailed, and professional. Every single guest that attended our wedding said it was the best wedding they had ever been to... the flow of the event is smooth and the property itself is gorgeous and unique. It really is genuine, southern hospitality and I would recommend this place to anyone!”
